Lydia Fitzpatrick's debut novel, Lights All Night Long, came out from Penguin Press in 2019. Her second novel, In the Blind, is forthcoming from Knopf on April 13, 2027. Her short stories have appeared in The Best American Mystery Stories, One Story, and elsewhere.

She graduated from Princeton University, received her M.F.A. from the University of Michigan, and was a Stegner Fellow at Stanford University.

She lives in Charleston, South Carolina, with her husband and three daughters.
